Land of the Shamanes

Day 1:

Arrive at Cuzco from Lima, and travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas to acclimatise your body to the altitude. In the afternoon, there is a ceremony of offering to Pachamama, or Mother Earth, to ask for permission and to reach the mystical connection in the following days of the tour to these Andean zones. In this ceremony we will re-establish the common union with our Mother Earth where we will express our intentions to achieve spiritual development, to find inner peace and of course the well being, for what we will be assisted by the Paccos (Shamanes) of the community of Q'eros. This place is three days journey from the city of Cuzco, and is considered a living museum of the Incan kingdom, since the Q'ero community is an admirable testimony to Prehispanic Peru, recognised since July 1955 by a scientific mission of the university of Cuzco. Spend the night in the valley.

Day 2

Travel to the archaelogical site of Pisaq, considered by the Andean mystic as the Temple of Halcon. There we will have ceremonies to connect us with the force and the spirit of the wind and the seven basic elements of energy (in the Asian world the seven chacras). We will also find evidence of cave paintings that date from 10 000 years ago. Visit the monument during the day. This is a place of very special energy.
In the afternoon, experience the sunset ceremony in the Temple of Amaru (serpent) to search for the balance between the three andean worlds; Hanan Pacha, which is the heavenly world; Kay Pacha, this world; and Uju Pacha, the interior world. Three states of conscience that allow us to communicate with our inner universe and connect it with the exterior. Return to the hotel and spend the night.

Day 3:

Visit the Archaelogical site of Ollataytambo, where we will visit the monument and see the different points of astronomical observation, including solstice and equinox. Considering that the Prehispanic Andean socities were fundamentally agricultural, they depended on these observations to determine periods of rain and drought respectively.
In the afternoon, you will be instructed on Andean cosmo-vision and there will be a slide show of different archaelogical sites for the best understanding of the Prehispanic development equistico. Spend the night in the sacred valley.

Day 4:

Travel to Ollataytambo to take the train to Macchu Picchu. We will travel through the valley of the river Urubamba towards the area of the tropical rainforest, to arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes, transfer to the hotel to rest.
Travel to the city of Macchu Picchu, considered as the Crystal City, there we will have a ceremony in the evening. OPCIONAL: NIGHT PACHU PICCHU. Return to Aguas Calientes in the bus provided. Spend the night in Aguas Calientes.

Day 5:

A second visit to Macchu Picchu to greet the sunrise, we will have the possibility to meditate here, we will let the sun, the air, and the sky enter inside our heart, transforming it into a llama and our body will be the light surrounding this llama.
Optional: To go to the thermal baths. Return tin the afternoon to spend the night in Cuzco.

Day 6:

Visit the archaelogical park of Sacsayhuaman, the park contains more than 305 archaelogical sites. Climb up to Tambomachay (cave of rest) to carry out a worship of contemplation with the Apus (ceremonial mountains).
There is a ceremony of cleansing with the element of water in Ccacca Puquio (wrongly called Tambomachay).
Ceremony of rebirth in Amaru Machay (the cave of the serpent) that in our tradition comes to be the uterus of the Cosmic Mother. Visit and observe astronomy (if the weather permits) at Qengo (in Quechua language zig zag), a place where the three Andean worlds are represented together. Visit the Temple of Illapa (rays) known as the great huaca of sun Sacsayhuaman. Return to the hotel and spend the night.
